So Now What???

I have thought about this long and hard and want to make one thing about the Project clear... this is means to conversation, NOT confrontation. This is about filling the casm, not widening the gap. So what to do? If you go to a rally, or event and choose to take a Matthew 25: 31-46 sign... be prepared. You may get push back, from both sides, so be prepared. Not only make your sign, but have a copy of the reading with you. This way you can never be accused of paraphrasing or misrepresenting the verses.

Be ready to listen. We are looking to find solutions, not push an agenda. Anytime you present something that causes conflict in a persons belief system, you will get push back, so listen, really listen and don't confront. Ask questions to help you understand their point of view and then present yours. Make them understand that our point is to try and understand how we can do things like block a vote on health care or medicare/medicade and stay true to what was clearly a mandate in the reading. Be real, be honest and remember the lessons that we have learned from the work of those who came before us.

Remember, change comes one person at a time.
